Funny incident of frist vehicle in pakistan

What Happened When Frist Vehicle Came In Pakistan

It was a warm afternoon on June 2, 1913, and the sun was shining brightly

A middle-aged man was sitting under a tree on the twenty-second mile of
the road from Rawalpindi to Murree, trying to protect himself from the hot sun.

This person’s name was Pehlwan(Urdu word, wrestler meaning in English),
his body and tosh were also like a wrestler.
Pehlwan was the janitor of a hay and straw warehouse at a place
called Bai Mail or Bis Mile. He had spent twenty years of his
youth as a janitor there. He had never even been to Rawalpindi.

The British built a road from Rawalpindi to Murree in the early 1870s,
which was driven by horses, tum tum bhagyans and bullock carts.
The journey from Rawalpindi to Murree sometimes took 2 days.

  1. On that afternoon of June 1913, the weather was hot enough
to make the wrestler sleepy again and again. For a long time,
not a single horse had passed on the road.

In his sleep, the wrestler heard a loud rumble, he was
startled by the rumble.
He had never heard such a majestic and loud voice till today.
He felt as if a mountain was falling down in pieces.

Due to this rumbling, the quiet atmosphere was disturbed, the
mountain squirrels and the birds started running here and there, worried.

The first thought in the wrestler’s mind was whether or
not this earthquake, which in the local language was
called “Puyel”, had occurred. He ran to the road and started reciting verses.
But it was not an earthquake, but the sound of thunder was
getting closer by the minute.
At that time, his eyes fell on the lower bend of the road.
What he saw was that an imposing vehicle was coming towards
him quickly, spewing smoke. The color of the vehicle was
black and the speed was fast.
Coming a little closer, Bula screamed loudly. The wrestler’s gait
was wrong. He started running ahead of Bula at full speed.
Bula was behind him and kept shouting.
The wrestler chanted ‘Hay Mur Gaya’.
Again and again the sound of paws like hammers raining down
on his hearing
When he looked back and saw that she was still running,
he ran even faster, and continued to run for three miles.
After running three miles, he saw a familiar government
contractor coming on the road in front of him. He reached
him panting and trembling and said in a hoarse voice.
Contractor! run run The contractor comforted him by giving
hand signals and asked. What is the matter?? Everything is fine, isn’t it?

The poor wrestler turned around and pointed with his finger and said.
See them. One is running without running. I was killed today.
He said that the work of some hands has come.
. The contractor looked at his finger tips

and he told him with a loud laugh, “Oh fool, this is nothing but a lorry.”

It was the first vehicle that came from Rawalpindi to Murree.
The contractor had previously seen lorries and jeeps in Rawalpindi.

When that lorry reached near them. Then the evil white
driver saw Pahlwan, and he once again honked loudly, hearing
which Pahlwan jumped down from the road and sped away.
It was the first mechanized ride that completed the
journey from Rawalpindi to Murree in a full 14 hours.

The date was June 2 and the year was 1913
